7. Section III comprises the General Test.
8. For each correct answer the candidates will be awarded +5 marks while 01 Mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
9. For choosing Languages (up to 3) from Section IA and IB and a maximum of 6 Subjects from Section II and General Test under Section III, the Candidate must refer to the requirements of his/her intended University.

Q- Does CUET have 2 attempts?

A- There is no limit on how many times you can take the CUET. To take the CUET, candidates must comply with the eligibility conditions.

Q- Can a 12th fail apply for CUET?

A- Applicants will not be eligible to apply for CUET 2024 if they failed one or more 12th-grade subjects. Even if a candidate succeeds on the entrance exam, admittance to the program is not guaranteed unless the candidate satisfies the requirements of the university to which they are applying.

Q- Will CUET be based on NCERT?

A- The CUET UG examination will adhere to the revised syllabus of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
