बेंचमार्क विकलांगता वाले व्यक्तियों के लिए आरक्षण:

“दिव्यांग व्यक्तियों के अधिकार अधिनियम, 2016” की धारा 34 के अनुसार बेंचमार्क दिव्यांग व्यक्तियों को चार प्रतिशत क्षैतिज आरक्षण प्रदान किया गया है। दिव्यांगता की निम्नलिखित श्रेणियों वाले व्यक्ति आवेदन कर सकते हैं:

  1. लोकोमोटर विकलांगता (एलडी): एक हाथ, एक पैर, दोनों पैर, एक हाथ और एक पैर की विकलांगता वाले व्यक्ति, बशर्ते कि स्वतंत्र गतिशीलता प्रभावित न हो, आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं। एई (सिविल) के लिए केवल एक हाथ की विकलांगता, एक पैर पात्र है। कुष्ठ रोग से ठीक हुए व्यक्ति, सेरेब्रल पॉलिसी, बौनापन, मस्कुलर डिस्ट्रॉफी और आरपीडब्ल्यूडी अधिनियम, 2016 की अनुसूची में निर्दिष्ट एसिड अटैक पीड़ित लोकोमोटर विकलांगता के तहत कवर किए जाएंगे।
  2. दृश्य विकलांगता (VI): आरपीडब्ल्यूडी अधिनियम, 2016 की अनुसूची के तहत परिभाषित दृश्य विकलांगता वाले उम्मीदवार आवेदन करने के लिए पात्र हैं।
  3. श्रवण विकलांगता (एचआई): आरपीडब्ल्यूडी अधिनियम, 2016 की अनुसूची के तहत परिभाषित “बधिर” और “सुनने में कठिनाई” विकलांगता वाले व्यक्ति आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं।
  4. बौद्धिक विकलांगता (आईडी): आरपीडब्ल्यूडी अधिनियम, 2016 की अनुसूची के तहत परिभाषित बौद्धिक विकलांगता, विशिष्ट सीखने की विकलांगता, मानसिक बीमारी वाले व्यक्ति आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं।
  5. बहु-विकलांगता (एमडी): आरपीडब्ल्यूडी अधिनियम, 2016 की अनुसूची के तहत परिभाषित उपर्युक्त विकलांगताओं में से एक से अधिक वाले व्यक्ति आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं।
